STBB RMX Battle 6

I choose 2 acapellas and 3 samples for this remix battle.

Acapellas: One from KING TEE , one of my favorite MC, and one from GURU who passed away 10 years ago , but still "one of the best".

Samples: BETTY WRIGHT for a little Tribute, SEU JORGE Great Artist that everybody know I guess, & a version of "Misirlou" from The JIMMY NEELEY Trio.

What's up people like Rakim said "it's been a long time i shouldn't have left you" Hope your all doing well? I had a little hiatus from music, so I'm trying to knock the rust off and what better way then knock up something for a battle

All sampled, chopped and arranged using my Akai MPC 2500. I used the Seu Jorge track, Skull Snaps "It's A New Day" Break and snippets from the King Tee acapella (If I was suppose to use the whole acapella then my bad - If I violated the rules by not using the whole thing then I will mark it as a non entry)

monthly is always supposed to end last wednesday of the month to coincide with the weekly.

I'm glad though.. gives me a chance to whip something together for the homie MzFK right quick!

Westcoast vibes. Had an alternate section with a more rugged approach, but could not bring those two together. That dope King Tee acapella was really fun to work with. I don't mean this in a disrespectful way, but it does sound a bit like Biggie right? Maybe more so because I pitched it down a bit.
