STBB Forever Donations
Hi all,
As we migrated from STBB 1.0 to 2.0 - the cost of running this site has substantially increased. Previously I spent ~$100 USD per year but the new cost will be $720 USD per year ($60 per month). I fully intend to continue covering the cost of maintaining STBB Forever - but I'm now open to taking donations from anyone in the community that wishes to contribute. I want to stress that this is 1000% optional. I have never intended to make money from this site and promise all funds will go towards covering the upkeep of our community.
For those wondering why the migration was necessary, some reasons below:

For those wondering why the migration was necessary, some reasons below:
- Our site was suspended by our previous host multiple times this spring due to an overuse of shared hosting resources (even today I cannot determine what the root cause was..)
- The previous site's forum software was out of date and upgrading to the next version may have resulted in broken theme / plugins / other issues
- While I do have some technical knowledge, I am by no means an expert - moving to the new forum host allows me to stop pretending to be the IT guy and let the professionals take care of everything!
- The new forum software feels like we're in the 21st century now 😆
