Hi all, I’m just wondering what people’s’ thoughts are on Melodyne for sampling and what package you have? Am I correct that it does key detection as well? If so, how do the results compare with something like Mixed In Key? I’d love to hear any general impressions about Melodyne as it relates...

Here's my entry. I built this around the Jose Mauro, Stereo Lab, and Stravinski samples. I slowed that Stereo Lab sample waaaaay down to be able to play some notes in since the original was a rather dense mix. I added some drums, Moog, Buchala, and a bit of piano (VSTs, not loops) to take it...

Hope it's OK to post this here. This is a non-entry remix of my real entry above. My buddy wanted to hear rap vocals on it, so I threw this MF Doom/Westside Gunn remix together. Peace.

Here's my submission. I used all the samples. The only thing outside is drums and bass (VSTs played live, no outside samples). Once again, that was incredibly tough to get all those samples to sit together. If per.du keeps winning I'm gonna have to buy Melodyne or something (just kidding)...
