Worked together with SonicSkater.. I layed the drums and sample, he freestyle recorded some bass and guitar over it, then I mixed it and added a quick 2nd part to the end :)

Dude these samples were just so fly, so fun to flip...

First things first, thanks EKM for the sample pack. I was able to take about 70+ chops out of there. In the end, that took the most time, cause then I pitched and composed the 5 right ones up in just no time. I started fucking with the mix waaay too much, then I got back to the essence. Hopefully.

Ended up loving these samples. Everything but the drums is from the samples. Did a lot of Reason's Grain on these. I remembered that I used to love to sprinkle some "unasked for, moral advisory and political/zeitgeist commentary" into these little medleys.

STBB 869: LAYERS The Rules: You have to use some of the provided samples. And when you do, you have to layer some of the same sounds and sources - eg. if you want to pitch it down -7, then also layer a +5 pitched on top of it (so it becomes an octave). I want to hear the power of combining...
