Been a minute - hope everyone around here's doin well. glad to see so many have stayed consistent. Had some extra time so trying to jump back in. Sadly takes me forever to get anywhere close to a finished product. But here we go...

Not sure if this is the right section for this post... I'm going to japan in a few weeks (tokyo, kyoto, maybe sapporo, not sure where else). curious to explore the hip hop scene there a bit. anyone from there (or whos been there) know of good spots for shows, or bars/clubs that are hip hop...

been a minute. been wanting to get in on the past few battles, but had a little bit more time this week for a quick one

fun stuff. didn't take this one TOO seriously but like how it ended up. used my vocals for essentially all of the non kick/hh/snare percussion, as well my hums pitched down for the bass. considered doing something more, but saved myself the embarrassment

man i wish these rules were for a monthly battle. this game (super smash bros on n64) is so fucking dear to my heart, spent a lifetime playing it. tried to do it some justice given the time available. flipped "home level" themes for samus and kirby from the game

Almost scrapped it, but then got into the lab this afternoon because I couldn't NOT compete in the FIRST monthly battle. I hope the acapella inclusion is limited enough to be fair game. Let me know if not.

Damn. Wish could have had more time on this one. Loved the theme and the samples. Shout out b-jam (and FVF). not sure i hit it 100%, but whatever. I took some time off for work for a few months, which is what let me get into producing - and these battles are the only thing that kept me...
